Lord Hobo Brewery Taproom
Lord Hobo Brewing Co. has garnered quite the following over the last few years by focusing their efforts on a great lineup of beers and increasing their production. But on the back burner remained their goal of opening a one-of-a-kind taproom that would excite their beloved following. We were thrilled to help make that dream come true. To do so, we had to create a taproom that was more than simply an extension of warehouse space. So we worked diligently to connect the taproom to the greater LHBC brand and their sister beer bar/restaurant in Cambridge, with a vernacular the owner has coined “Viking industrial”. The end result is a warm, welcoming, yet extremely striking beer hall with big wooden beams, wooden columns, and custom lighting that echoes the Lord Hobo logo. Another important functional design aspect of the design is the connectivity to the brewhouse through an overhead door and large windows that will frame the soon-to-come canning line. Top it all off with a bold, dedicated retail space and you’ve got something Lord Hobo loyalists can take pride in and make the pilgrimage to again and again. Or as they have dubbed it, The Humble Castle.
