Richmond Cabin

This complete gut renovation of the 1,200 square foot cabin in the Berkshires required making the absolute most of a small space. Part of which was utilizing the existing structure to the design’s advantage but letting indirect light create a warm, woodsy glow throughout. Some mindful rearranging here and some contemporary updating there, and this modern yet rustic retreat now comfortably sleeps 7 across two cozy bedrooms and one comfy loft. In addition, the cabin also features two separate bathrooms. More than enough space for all to kick back and relax. We’re very proud to say that our hard work on this one didn’t go unnoticed, with this feature on the cover of Boston Magazine: www.bostonglobe.com/magazine/2011/10/22/feathering-their-nest/ToUVFksHnB1Lh601O9K85L/story.html. We are also currently working with this client on a 3,400 square foot addition to the cabin. So check back for s’more soon. (Sorry, we couldn’t resist.)
