We are seeking a proactive, self-disciplined, hands-on, and confident Interior Design Intern to actively support the day-to-day efforts of the firm's interior design and architectural staff.
Job description: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Existing conditions surveying, production of existing condition models in Revit, documentation production.
- Zoning and code research.
- Participate actively in meetings and projects, from beginning to end.
- Support the design team in the creation and implementation of compelling design solutions.
- Assist in developing floor plans, reflected ceiling plan, elevations & details in Revit
- Assist with digital presentations, client presentations, and vendor presentations.
- Creating mood boards, sample boards, and design boards using software like InDesign, Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.
- Ordering & researching material samples, fabric, and finish samples.
- Maintain the sample library, organizing, ordering, and returning samples to vendors.
- General office administration tasks.
Requirements: Minimum three years of completed undergraduate or graduate education in interior design, strong working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam software, familiarity with material, furniture, fabric vendors is desired. Strong verbal, visual, written communication & organizational skills, strong collaboration skills working with internal teams and external clients and project partners, ability to work independently on an assignment, deep curiosity and desire to learn.
Start Date: As soon as August 26th, 2024.
Location of Work: Full-time, in person, at the JtA office.
Compensation: $19-$24 per hour depending on experience.

Job description: Responsibilities include but are not limited to existing conditions surveying on project sites using 3D lidar scanner, production of existing condition models in Revit, coordinating production of existing conditions models, managing QA/QC for BIM model production, documentation production, rendering, product/material research, zoning and code research, design, physical model building, and general office administration tasks.
Requirements: Minimum three years of completed undergraduate or graduate education in architecture, strong working knowledge of Revit, Adobe InDesign, and Bluebeam software, use of a dependable personal vehicle for transportation to project sites (mileage reimbursed), strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills, strong collaboration skills working with internal teams and external clients and project partners, deep curiosity and desire to learn.
Start Date: As soon as August 12th, 2024.
Location of Work: Part-time or Full-time, in person at the JtA office (there will also be time spent on site scanning in the Metro Boston area).
Compensation: $19-$24 per hour depending on experience.
