The house that Lager built.

Jack’s Abby

Jack’s Abby makes some tasty and truly inviting everyday beers. The design for their taproom and restaurant needed to be equally inviting, where people could kick back, while still remaining close to the warehouse’s brewing process.

We utilized the existing layout of the brewing facilities to our advantage and showcased the fermentation tanks and aging barrels as the primary backdrop for the design. Extra large windows physically separate the two spaces while still maintaining the visual connection between the two. Additionally, we created large rusticated wood and steel panels above and washed them with light to bring down the ceiling plane of the vast warehouse space. Long tables mirror the panels creating a cozy, comfortable, and classic beer hall vibe where patrons can appreciate the entirety of the brewing process, from tank to mouth. Prost!
