Detailed Description

Design architectural and interior design plans and projects for residential and commercial projects. Analyze issues impacting architectural design projects, including construction costs, labor and materials, and existing and historical residential and commercial specifications and requirements. Consult with clients to determine architectural functions and requirements of structures. Lead client meetings and design presentations, monitor project and financial developments, and delegate design directives to junior staff. Draft and render architectural drawings using software including Sketchup, Enscape, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for presentation production. Research Zoning and Building Code regulations and requirements and determine project impact. Attend Zoning Board public hearings and collaborate with local boards. Administer project and construction activities and conduct site visits, analyze and prepare responses to requests for information (RFIs), and coordinate project activities with contractors and clients.

Job Requirements

BS in Architecture or related architectural field, and Five years of architectural experience in residential or commercial projects, including at least three years of use of Sketchup and AutoCAD software for project drawings, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for presentation production, and zoning and construction project administration experience. Hybrid work schedule permitted.
