An all-day culinary gem
in Cambridge.

Amba

Amba is an all-day destination café at First Street Market, where Mediterranean-inspired dishes meet in an inviting, plush, modern space. The convenience and pace are fast-casual, but the fare is top-tier.

We had the pleasure of helping shape the concept from scratch, handling branding, architecture, and interior design for our fantastic repeat clients. Paired with its flexible and communal sibling, First Street Market, Amba helps create a true all-day, week-round hub for the neighborhood. Both workers and commuters from the surrounding area can pop in to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or takeaway without sacrificing taste or comfort. Amba serves up big flavor in a modern and relaxing space, from tahini shakes to expertly brewed coffee to the ridiculous pita-mac burger and their signature rotisserie chicken. The space is wrapped in warm wood, soft hues of blush velvet seating, and sage green mesh to create a cozy yet active environment. In parallel, the branding reemphasizes that sentiment while making sure the big, bold flavors get their due. Brought together-- food, style, and design transport you to a restful place where you can recharge and fully nourish from the outside hustle and bustle.
