Beacon Hill Home

Beacon Hill is one of the most historic and iconic neighborhoods in Boston. The location and charm are unbeatable. Our clients absolutely love their home in the area, but it needed a modern and more functional update. We had the pleasure of reshaping their 1870s beauty and giving it some love.

The project was a complete gut renovation that addressed a range of design goals. To start, we enlarged and reworked the previously cramped kitchen to engage better with the living room. To do this, we borrowed space from the hall to enlarge the living area and designed a custom dining table to waterfall off the kitchen island and connect the living room. We finished the rest of the floor off with a brand-new guestroom and a beautiful new bathroom. Then, moving up to the second level, we reconfigured the layout to accommodate a new office space, a reworked laundry space, and, the jewel of it all, an enlarged master bedroom with a brand-new master bath and walk-in closet. We even added a fun custom stained glass interior window in the bedroom to let a bit of playful light in and make it feel even more open. To top the renovation all off, we designed a brand-new roof deck for our clients, adding liveable space that was previously nonexistent and capitalizing on the stunning views their Beacon Hill home has to offer. It’s a beautiful project all-around and one that we are truly grateful to have been a part of. (Roof deck photos coming soon)
