Brockton Beer, which is Black, Asian, and minority-owned, doesn't want to talk the talk, but instead walk the walk. They want to be an active catalyst in Brockton’s downtown revitalization, so they set up shop right in the heart of downtown across from city hall. We worked hard to design a space that would be a gathering hub for the city as well as a very functional production brewery. Inside the 2,800 square feet are a 15 bbl brew operation, a full kitchen and bar, a lounge, a merch area, four restrooms, and ample seating for 120 thirsty friends. One of its centerpieces is a custom, theater-style marquee menu and message board, which is a nod to the famous Brockton theaters of the past. Something is always happening at the taproom these days, and case in point, local Congressman Lynch stopped by while we were photographing the space to chat with folks. Stop by yourself when you are in the area and pick up a pack when you see them on the shelves. Every sip is about neighbors supporting neighbors and building a stronger community for everyone.
