Rooted In doesn’t just talk about giving back to the community; they walk they walk. Founded by a group of friends from Roxbury, and invested in by primarily people of color from Boston's Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan and Hyde Park neighborhoods, Rooted In gives back to its communities to help...
We had the pleasure of designing their dispensary to help them achieve these great goals. Located on bustling Newbury Street, the space is in a prime location to serve the Back Bay neighborhood and its many visitors. Rather than hide the windows with frosting, we wanted to capitalize on the window frontage and invite people in with a clear view into the upscale reception area. A branded backdrop works to conceal the retail space beyond while still allowing for plenty of natural light to pour in through the windows framing it. The elevated design continues throughout the rest of space with crown molding, custom millwork, and classic finishes. Overall, it’s a great looking space that works hard for a great cause.
