A brand-new
neighborhood stand-by.

The Quiet Few

Top Shelf, Low Brow. That’s The Quiet Few’s motto and exactly what our design delivers. Intentionally, of course. The owners wanted the place to feel like a neighborhood bar that had been there for years, but the obvious challenge is that we built it today.

So we dove into our years of service industry experience (and bar sitting) to guide the way towards an overall design that is classic and comfortable. The bar’s long wooden armrest beckons you to sit and stay awhile as you nestle in to catch up with old friends, while the bustling shuffleboard table levels the playing field and gives you plenty of space to make new ones. Throughout, family photos, classic sports memorabilia, and Fenway seats add layer upon layer of real memories. On top of that, wherever we could, we let the character of the existing building shine through by complementing it with warm woods and a traditional tin ceiling. To focus it all, we centered the tap tower in the old hearth and flanked it with shelves of their signature beverage: whiskey. Pair all of that with the amazingly welcoming staff and you’ve got a place where everyone can feel like a regular.
